With 25 years of experience in the wireless communication business, Ron Bittner is responsible for leading Parallel’s wireless tower development program, overseeing an organization tasked with fulfilling Parallel’s customer orders, from site acquisition through tower construction and ongoing tower management. Bittner brings tremendous expertise in all aspects of tower and wireless communication network development, optimization and operations.
Prior to joining Parallel, Bittner served as Senior Director of National Site Development at Cricket Communications (an AT&T company) where he managed over $100 million of annual spending for new site builds, tower modifications and LTE deployments with general oversight of network development and maintenance. He achieved great success at Cricket, overseeing and completing network build-outs in over 16 major markets, with over 2,000 sites on air in Cincinnati, Philadelphia and Baltimore-Washington, among other markets. Bittner previously spent ten years at Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems (which later became Verizon Wireless) in escalating positions across multiple disciplines including real estate, tower development and field operations.
Bittner holds degrees in architectural design from Triangle Technical Institute and California University of Pennsylvania.
